2000+mask forms made of household linens

Mesa Community College Gallery, Mesa Arizona

2020

Ronna Nemitz and Debra Everett addressed the 2020 world health crisis in Wave. The artists use remnants of ordinary household linens and transform them into an expanding memorial for the Covid-19 pandemic victims. Over 2000 masks were knotted together, a metaphoric presence of individual lives lost and the world community undergoing a catastrophe.
