I Can’t Stay and I Can’t Come Back

Site-specific installation exploring a domestic scene of mortality. This installation chronicles the moments immediately following the death of the mother, the long cared for parent. The death bed and those left bewildered by the absence touches on the stark reality and transformational power of losing a parent.
